'Portraits with a Jacket' by Marjolaine Ryley, with fashion designer Hussein Chalayan for NºC
In the special project for the magazine NºC, seven child refugees
living in an asylum center in St. Niklaas, Belgium were photographed. Each child shares
their candid thoughts on war and wears and oversized jacket symbolizing the mature feelings and
responsibilities they are faced with daily.
